There are two ways to wear your hat and it's essential to pick your style before you start measuring your head, because there are important differences.
Option 1: halo style
Wear your hat in a more relaxed way at the back of your head. Take your measuring tape and place it from the furthest part of the back of your head to the top of your forehead, where your hairline begins. Make sure to measure about 5mm above your ears.
Option 2: traditional style
Wear your hat the traditional way, like a cowboy. Take your measuring tape and place it from the furthest part of the back of your head to the centre of your forehead, above your eyebrows, or where you want your hat to sit. Make sure to measure about 5mm above your ears.
Check what size the measuring tape says. If you're in between sizes, we recommend going up in size. Some people like their hats to sit a bit loose on their head, others like it more tight. Find your personal preference and measure exactly where you want your hat to sit.
